Woody King - beyond his business Woody has served as President of the Worthington, Ohio Convention and Visitors Bureau for the past six years. Prior to that, he served on the Board of Directors for the Central Ohio Restaurant Association for several years.
From: 1990-97, he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Greater Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau. He successfully created "Team Columbus" with members and city officials resulting in new national conventions booking the city for the first time.
From 1985-89, representing the California Hyatts, Red Lion Resorts, Santa Barbara Biltmore, Portman, Belz and LaMansion Hotels. Between 1968-84, he held various national and regional marketing positions with Marriott, Mariner, Westcor, Registry Resorts and American Airlines.
A graduate from the University of Arizona, he was also elected Captain of the football team and played in the post-season Hula Bowl as an All-American.
Linda King - Ten years prior to formed DM&M with Woody, she handled clients from California to Ohio including the former Pickett Hotels, Donatos Pizza, Star Bank, Central Benefits, Cross Country Inns and investment real estate purchases and management.
Between 1971-86, she was employed by: Marriott Hotels & Resorts as Regional Director of Advertising & Promotion, based in Los Angeles, representing 25 properties in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon and Hawaii and a $5-million annual budget. Also served on the Resorts Executive Committee to determine how to maximize revenue and profit year-round. Prior to Marriott, she was Director of Advertising & Public Relations for Mariner Hotels in Houston with 20 hotels nationwide and a $4-million budget. Prior to moving to Houston, she was Director of Advertising for a startup pay television network formed by Getty Oil, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Universal Studios in L.A. And before this opportunity, she spent 10 years as an executive in advertising agencies in Los Angeles and Ohio.
